October reminds us that awareness has the power to educate, inspire, and save lives. Throughout the month, we stand in support of individuals, families, caregivers, survivors, advocates, and healthcare professionals whose lives have been impacted by the many causes recognized during this time.

While this list is not all-inclusive, it highlights just a few of the important awareness campaigns observed throughout October. Every ribbon tells a story. Every cause deserves compassion. Every conversation has the potential to create hope and inspire action.

Whether you choose to wear a ribbon, volunteer, donate, educate others, or simply offer support, your actions matter. Always remember that awareness creates change.

Celebrate Bilingual Child Month in October

Bilingual Child Month dedicates the entire month of October to recognizing the incredible advantages of multilingualism in children. This observance highlights the cognitive, social, and cultural benefits of growing up speaking more than one language.

Join us for Cuentos & Stories, our bilingual story time, every Saturday at 1 PM.
