Called To Serve

🔥 WHEN GOD CALLS YOU TO SERVE, HE DOESN’T NEED THE COMMUNITY TO VOTE ON YOUR ASSIGNMENT! 🔥

Let's be clear: Everybody in the community won't celebrate your calling, support your vision, or appreciate your sacrifice. Some will criticize what they don't understand, question what they didn't help build, and attempt to tear down what God has called you to lift up!
But here's the wisdom: You were called to serve the community, not to seek its approval!
Don't let the voices of a few distract you from the lives you're called to impact. God didn't promise you applause. He gave you an assignment!
True community leadership isn't about titles, recognition, or being seen. It's about showing up, meeting needs, building relationships, and making a difference even when nobody is watching.

💐 Wisdom Teaches: Everybody won't be FOR you, but that doesn't mean you stop doing what God called you to do. Pray for the critics, protect your peace, and keep walking in your purpose!

Never take the sacrifices of others for granted. Whether you reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ or the sacrifices of our ancestors, you must remember that the blessings, opportunities, and freedoms you enjoy today came at a cost.
Their struggles, sacrifices, and unwavering faith helped keep hope alive for generations to come. They endured so that you could have opportunities they may have only dreamed of.
Now, the responsibility is yours. You must honor their sacrifices by living purposefully, moving forward, and refusing to take steps backward. You have been entrusted with great liberties and opportunities. It is up to you to protect those freedoms, make wise choices, and create a better life for yourselves and the generations that follow.
Never forget: What others sacrificed to give you, you must be willing to protect, nurture, and pass on.

💐 Wisdom Teaches: Freedom came at a cost. The question is, what are you doing to preserve it, protect it, and make the most of it? 💕

God has given each of us a unique lane of influence. Stay in yours! Don't be distracted by someone else's path. Perhaps their assignment may comes with a roadmap you are not equipped to navigate. Trust God to bless your lane, strengthen your purpose, and maximize your impact. You don't have to imitate others to make a difference.

"Quiet Your Mind"

A beautiful mind is a terrible thing to waste. Sometimes, your mind becomes overstimulated because stillness feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar. Even when your body comes to a stop, your thoughts may continue to race.
Just as you exercise and strengthen your body, you must also nurture and train your mind. Teach yourself to embrace stillness through meditation, prayer, or simply sitting quietly and allowing yourself to breathe. Give your mind permission to pause, reset, and find its way back to peace. There are tremendous benefits in making time to sit still and quiet the noise around you. Sometimes, the most meaningful thing you can do for yourself is to slow down, become present, and allow your mind to recalibrate.
Remember, your mind deserves the same care and attention you give to your body. 💕

Ambition, Which One?
Just because someone does something nice for you doesn't mean it was with good intention. Listen to your intuition.
The Bible encourages us to learn to distinguish between “godly ambition,” which produces great benefits, and “selfish ambition,” which can become like a fire burning out of control. It's okay to turn down certain acts when it doesn't feel right. Just a "No Thank You" with a smile will do.

The Power of Your Circle

The difference between success and failure can often be influenced by the people you allow into your circle.
Be intentional about who has access to you, your vision, your dreams, and your purpose.
Honest gatekeepers and watchmen are necessary and extremely important.
When you learn the value of having people who will honestly cover you, speak truth to you, protect your best interests, and lovingly hold you accountable, you gain a deeper appreciation for their presence in your life. 🦋
