Adoption #26: Birdie Has Found Her Forever Lap ❤️

Some cats make an entrance. Others quietly make their way straight into your heart. Today we're celebrating Adoption #26, and our sweet girl Birdie has officially found her forever home!

Birdie is soft-spoken, gentle, and never the one demanding attention. Instead, she'll patiently wait her turn, watching from nearby until she spots an empty lap. Then, with her sweet and quiet confidence, she'll slowly make her way over and settle in.

One of our amazing volunteers had the privilege of getting to know Birdie over time and seeing her wonderful personality shine. After countless sweet moments together, he decided it was finally time to bring her home.

We couldn't be happier for Birdie and her new family. Watching these connections form is one of the greatest joys of what we do, and knowing this special girl will spend the rest of her life surrounded by love is the perfect ending (or beginning) to her story.

Join us for Halloween with the Cats on October 31 and November 1 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tailspin Cat Sanctuary!

Come meet our amazing feline residents and enjoy Halloween treats. Our cats are already preparing their best purrs, head boops, and mischievous charm to welcome visitors during this spooky season.

We’re all set up and ready to serve up the best chili, homemade cinnamon rolls, brownies, and cookies. Come pick up lunch for your family and grab a cup of coffee while you’re here!

Will be serving up chili and baked goods from 11:00 to 3:00 in the parking lot of B&B Equipment Leasing at 909 Guthrie St. in De Soto.

🐾 Tailspin Cat Sanctuary Extension Update 🏗️💙

We are beyond excited to share that the concrete has been poured, and framing has begun on our sanctuary extension! Every board that goes up represents hope, growth, and a brighter future for the cats who depend on us. ❤️

This new space is so much more than an addition to a building. It's an investment in the lives of cats who need a safe place to heal, grow, and thrive. It will allow us to do more for the animals in our care while expanding our ability to serve the community that has supported us every step of the way.

But we need to be honest. While construction is moving forward, our daily expenses haven't slowed down. The cats still need food. They still need litter. They still need medical care. And the veterinary bills continue to arrive, whether we're building or not. Right now, donations have slowed considerably, and we're asking for your help.

We're so happy to announce that two more Tailspin kittens have found their forever home together! ❤️

Moe and Flora have officially gone to their forever family, and we couldn't be happier for them. They, and their new family, truly hit the jackpot. These two best friends will get to stay together, sharing a lifetime of love, comfort, playtime, and all the nurturing they deserve.

Watching multiple kittens find a home together is always extra special, and we know Moe and Flora have a bright future ahead of them. 🏡✨
