2. The two small towns became allied to fix the broken bridge.

Examples:
1. During the drought, the local farmers carried heavy water buckets up the steep hill to save their dying crops, demonstrating great tenacity.
The fishermen showed great tenacity by mending their nets in the freezing rain to be ready for the next catch.

Examples:
1. The synergy between the emergency medical team and the local fire department resulted in a response time of under four minutes during the community rescue operation.
2. volunteer group created a synergy that delivered emergency relief packs to one thousand displaced families in twenty-four hours.
