Le Village Cowork Des Plaines is hiring! 🤍

Our small but mighty team is growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Teacher to join us!

This position will primarily work with our Wigglers classroom — 12 weeks through confidently walking — and is currently part-time, with the opportunity to grow into full-time hours.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has at least 1 year of infant experience (preferred)
• Has a genuine love for working with young children
• Is comfortable working alongside parents who are right upstairs
• Has CPR + First Aid certification (or is willing to obtain it)
• Can pass a background check
• Is reliable, warm, patient, and ready to be part of a small, close-knit team

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about the “modern dad”—one who’s balancing work and family, sharing the mental load at home, and showing up with intention for both their kids and their partner.

The other day I looked up from my computer and realized... I was the only mom in the room that morning!

It made me laugh because one of the questions we hear all the time on tours is:
“So... is this just for moms?”

Nope.

Turns out dads are looking for the same thing moms are: a community that understands this season of life, a place where their kids are known and loved, and a workspace where they don’t have to choose between career and family.

It’s been so fun watching more and more dads make Le Village part of their routine—dropping their little ones off downstairs, heading upstairs to work, having lunch with their kiddo, and skipping the hour-long commute home just to spend more time with their families.

Le Village was never built just for moms. It was built for parents who want to do great work and be present for the little moments that matter.

(And yes, dads are more than welcome to join the village.)
