🏀 Fathers and sons of St. Paul’s returned to their home court tonight — and there was no better way to break in the new gym than on Father’s Day!

What a treat to be the inaugural group to take the floor on this state-of-the-art court, with Pastor Wade and Athletic Director Dan Sterling on hand to mark the tip-off of a new chapter. Sunday night basketball has long been a staple of men’s fellowship at St. Paul’s.

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 🧱 After breaking ground nearly two years ago on our “Tell the Wonders He Has Done” ministry expansion campaign, we’re delighted to open the doors for your first look at our beautiful and thoughtfully designed new spaces!

You’re invited to experience a first‑look walk‑through of our campus expansion, including the gym, The Commons gathering space, classrooms, collaboration spaces, and the Meisch Music Suite. Sneak a peek into Saints Hall and the kitchen, both currently in the finishing phase of construction.

Enjoy self‑guided tours — at either 9:00 a.m. or noon — featuring stations along the way, hosted by knowledgeable volunteers who will answer questions and share the purpose and vision behind each area.

🎂 Tabby Comfort Dog often attends our Tuesday church meetings — and because today’s her 12th birthday — our staff enjoyed singing rounds of “Happy birthday to you” and “God‘s blessings to you” … just as we do for all staff birthdays! 🎈

Today, on Trinity Sunday, guest preacher Rev. Dr. Kent Burreson shared the painting “The Trinity” by Andrei Rublev, inviting the congregation to contemplate the mystery of the Holy Trinity.

In his proclamation, Rev. Burreson emphasized that we are one family of believers, bound in love to the Lord. “God binds Himself — His name — to us, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God’s name and God’s story are so closely intertwined with our story that they cannot be separated.”

Today we celebrate Holy Trinity Sunday: God in Trinity, Trinity in Unity — uncreated, infinite, eternal, almighty.

In our church chancel we see God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit depicted in the trio of east and west crimson stained glass windows.

Lamps, chairs, baskets … oh my! $2500 was raised in three hours — all for LWML mission grants — at today’s LWML tag sale.

Hosted in Kirkwood, the yard sale fundraiser was filled with treasures and finds donated by the congregation and by our Lutheran Women in Mission group, shown here in purple aprons. Many thanks! 👏🏻
