Denton County 4-H members continue to impress!

From Beef to Veterinary Science, Public Speaking to Photography, our members showcased a year of learning, leadership, service, and project excellence through the 4-H Record Book Contest. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication represented in each of these record books.

Congratulations to all of our county winners and those advancing to District Competition! 🏆

Congratulations to Silver Saddle 4-H 2nd VP and Secretary, Gabi Davis, for becoming a Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador! As she undergoes training at Super Summit right now, she is learning how to train the state of Texas to be healthier.

From being a Junior Leader on the committee in Food & Nutrition, to winning within the Top 3 Teams at multiple Food Challenge events located at the Stock Shows, we are SO proud of her progress and what she has accomplished.

Congratulations, Gabi! We wish you the best!! 🍀✨

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, strength, and selflessness gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day, and for that we are forever grateful. 🇺🇸

As we spend time with family, friends, and the sound of hooves in the arena, may we also take a moment to reflect on the heroes who made it all possible. Their legacy will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service had their ribbon cutting ceremony on 4/30. Our president and 2nd VP/secretary went for the monumental occasion! We also saw Dr. Hurley Miller and district VP Kaden at the ceremony. It was an amazing experience!! It’s been BUSY around these parts! End of year competitions, prepping for record books, and last meetings - OH MY!

District IV 4-H had their Round Up on April 10. Our club had 2 teams go for quiz bowl and one individual for public speaking. We also met up with friends from our neighboring 22 counties in the district - that’s kinda what 4-H is known for - networking.

Representing Denton County 4-H this was such a fun day!

Team 1 (in Pink) placed 4th! Congrats to:

Next year, 3 of these members will be moving up to the senior division!
