The Halloween Town Market is back at Quakertown Park tonight and tomorrow, October 9–10, from 6–10pm, and again October 15–18. It's free, and 25 local artists rotate through each night with handmade art, candles, jewelry, and wonderful oddities. Perfect for an evening stroll downtown.

Let's start downtown. The Halloween Town Market is back at Quakertown Park this weekend, Friday through Sunday, October 2–4, from 6–10pm, and again October 8–10. Over at City Hall, the Scary Chairy Orchard is open all month (through October 31). More than 100 chairs get transformed by Denton locals into something strange and wonderful, and you get to vote for your favorite. It's a great free stop with the kids.

Happy Friday, Denton! 🎃 October is right around the corner, and in the Halloween Capital of Texas, that means things are about to get fun. Here's what's on our radar.

First up, it's Family Weekend at UNT! The Mean Green host Houston Christian this Saturday, September 26, at 6:30pm at DATCU Stadium, with family-friendly activities set up all around the stadium. Grab the kids, wear your green, and cheer on the home team.

Then the Halloween season officially kicks off. Why Denton? Because you find experienced people who make you feel welcome and truly know what they’re doing.

This is the first time Mark has ever grown a beard, and we really didn’t know what to do with it. Then he reached out to Chad at . knew exactly how to shape it, clean it up, and show Mark how to take care of it.

I’m wasn’t a beard person!! However, now it looks amazing and I have to say, I think the beard is pretty cool. 😊

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the shop is filled with experienced barbers who genuinely know their craft. That kind of expertise and personal service is one more reason we love Denton.
