Have you all been to Lazi Cow in Denton?! 🐄✨
Because somehow… this one was not on my radar until my friend @ Oak Point Spotlight told me! Now I’m wondering how I missed it!

From the second you walk in, it’s such a fun vibe. The murals are fun, the space is clean and modern, and yes… there are cows everywhere (which I fully support 😂).

But let’s talk about what actually matters:

Huge thank you to Landmark for the invite to the Made in Denton Music Fest! Tyler Bond, Wade Bagley, and Kody West were incredible. Nights like this remind me how special our local community is.

Yes, after the Keith Lee explosion.

I snuck back into .brownthumb during a quiet window and was reminded why Denton locals loved it before the internet did its thing. 🌱

I grabbed the Calathea drink. Yummy and creamy, lightly sweet with strawberry purée and a smooth vanilla cold foam and the strawberry matcha lemonade, which is bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Both were SO good. Fresh, intentional, and not overly sweet. I love it! You can really taste the care in every sip.

The vibe? Still calm.
The drinks? Still amazing.
The plants? Still giving main-character energy.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to go, this is it. 🌱

Wood-Fired Pizzeria, Denton’s hidden gem for true Neapolitan-style pizza!

From the perfectly blistered crust to the fresh arugula and shaved parmesan, every bite tastes like it came straight from Italy. Their dough ferments for 72 hours (you can taste the love and patience in it), and everything is cooked in that gorgeous wood-fired oven right behind the counter.

Pro tip: Try the Prosciutto y Rucola - it’s fresh, salty, peppery perfection.

Support local, eat delicious, and grab a seat before they sell out for the day!

We started the night off right at Rooster’s with their awesome brisket & burger sandwich (highly recommend if you haven’t tried it yet!).

Then headed next door to for an unforgettable evening of music with the amazing , joined by Michael Clement on piano, Kai Wagner on bass, and Rich DeRosa on drums. 🎶

This is exactly why Denton is so special with first class talent, local flavor, and a community that truly supports it all. 💜
