NorCal is excited to introduce our new Fair Play Card initiative, launching at the upcoming U9 and U10 Round 2 and Quarterfinal events! This initiative celebrates the character, integrity, and positive behavior that make soccer a great experience for everyone.

Soccer is about more than goals, wins, and individual performance. It’s also about how players, teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees treat one another. Through the Fair Play Card, we want to recognize the players who set a positive example and help create a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable environment on the field.

This time, we were in Monterey, with serving as our hosts.

A huge thank you to Monterey Surf for their hospitality and for providing an excellent facility at Cal State Monterey Bay. Special thanks also to the U16–U18 girls who participated as demo players and helped make the session a success!

We appreciate everyone who came out to learn, share ideas, and continue developing as coaches.

U10 BOYS FINALLY GOT THE TEAM PHOTO!

And these boys are making moves!

After a slow first half against the 3rd-place team in their division, our U10B came out firing in the second half! 🔥

Confident on the ball, connecting passes to feet, creating space, and playing some great soccer!

A couple of unlucky deflections gave MVLA the win, but the scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story. The growth, confidence, and determination these boys showed today were HUGE!

Proud of the progress, boys! Keep building, keep battling, and on to the next one!

Thank you for teaching more than just soccer — for building confidence, encouraging teamwork, creating memories, and helping our players grow both on and off the field.
