We are pleased to share that Sol Treasures, Inc. is a Spring 2026 Community Arts Grantee!

This grant will support Advancing Arts Access Through Exhibitions and Educational Docent Tours, featuring six curated exhibitions and the work of 30–40 local artists. Exhibitions will highlight Indigenous communities, veterans, rural schools, and local artists, including participation in Arts4MC’s Open Studios Art Tour. The program will also welcome local students for docent-led tours and hands-on art projects inspired by each exhibition. 🖼️🚌

A special thank you to our Supporting Sponsors, Fenton & Keller, The Edward M. Dowd Foundation, and Kasavan Architects, for their generous support of the 2026 Open Studios Art Tour! 🙌

Their support makes it possible for artists across Monterey County to share their work, welcome visitors into their creative spaces, and connect with the community during this free, two-weekend experience. We’re grateful for their commitment to uplifting local artists and expanding access to the arts.

There’s still time to submit your artwork! 🌿

Monterey County artists are invited to submit original work for Moments of Calm, Arts4MC’s annual juried exhibition in partnership with the Monterey County Board of Supervisors.

This year’s theme explores peace, healing, reflection, nature, and wellbeing. Selected works will be exhibited at the Monterey County Health Department in Salinas for up to one year, giving local artists an opportunity to share their work in a public community space. 🖼️

⏰ Deadline: Friday, August 28 at 6 PM

Artists must be 20 years or older and live or work in Monterey County. All visual art mediums are welcome, with the exception of sculpture and AI-generated artwork.

Arts4MC is seeking a Gallery Associate to support artists and artist studios, exhibitions and events, and visitor engagement at ArtWorks Gallery in Downtown Salinas. As part of the ArtWorks and Arts4MC community, this role helps connect artists, visitors, and community members to art, programs, opportunities, and resources. 🖼️

If you’re passionate about the arts, enjoy creating welcoming spaces, and are organized, community-minded, and excited to work alongside artists, we’d love to hear from you!
