🎉 Join us in celebrating Monterey County’s newest Youth Poet Laureate!

Arts4MC is proud to announce Anton MacLachlan of Pacific Grove High School as the 2026/2027 Monterey County Youth Poet Laureate. As he begins his one-year term on July 1, Anton will help elevate youth voices, promote poetry and literacy, and inspire creativity throughout Monterey County.

The community is invited to celebrate this exciting milestone on Tuesday, June 9:

"I was so excited to watch El Pecado de Juana perform live during First Friday Salinas.

Their sound combined indie edge with bolero music, bringing back memories of my grandparents' favorite music, like Los Caminantes. It gave me nostalgia listening to them perform. It was more than just a performance, it was an experience.

I highly recommend listening to them and catching a live show if you have the chance!

Midtown Alley Mural Celebration! 🎊

Arts4MC and United Way Monterey County, with support from the County of Monterey, invite the community to the unveiling of two new murals in Downtown Salinas. 🎨

Monterey County artists Natalia Corazza and Lee Abellana will officially reveal their completed works, created around the theme: “A thriving and united community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.” This project was made possible through Arts4MC, with support from the County of Monterey.
