To date, Rooted for Good has provided over two million pounds of food to people locally. DCCG steadfastly continues as a frontline COVID-19 responder addressing the significant upsurge of food insecurity needs apparent to many in and around DeKalb County. The costs of bringing free food to the community has more than quadrupled since 2019. Thanks to a dedicated and capable staff, and generous comm
unity support DCCG has been able to meet this increased demand. Since March of 2020, DCCG has utilized its Grow Mobiles (mobile food pantries) and Genoa Area Community Food Hub (GACFH) to, collectively, serve more than 26,500 households/82,000+ individuals. Together, they have distributed over 840,000 total pounds of food working to ensure no one goes hungry. VOLUNTEER CONNECTIONS
