Florida Issues Emergency Rule on 7-OH Products.

On June 22, 2026, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier signed an emergency rule that immediately classifies concentrated 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) and related compounds as Schedule I controlled substances in Florida. State officials cited concerns related to addiction, overdose risk, and public safety.

7-OH products have often been marketed in convenience stores, v**e shops, and online. Community members are encouraged to stay informed and talk with family members, friends and loved ones about 7-OH products and the dangers associated with their use.

Cychlorphine is a dangerous synthetic opioid reported to be up to 10x stronger than fentanyl and has already been identified in counterfeit pills across the United States. Officials warn these pills are being made to resemble legitimate medication making them especially dangerous and potentially deadly.
