We had a wonderful time with our club members and fellow friends at the 80th annual Daylily National in Valdosta, GA.
It was wonderful to see so many beautiful gardens and fellowship with the enthusiast!
Don’t forget to join us in August and October for club and Region 12 Meeting! Excitement Awaits!

We had a fabulous meeting in April with guest speaker Opal Howell. If you have not attended one of our meetings, we invite you out in August! Also, mark your calendars for October 3 for our regional (send in form) and/or stop by for a mega Daylily sale! We always have fun and have many many give aways at our meetings! Thanks..

We look forward to this time of fellowship, games, door prizes, auctions, education, and much else! We will have a potluck during this time, so please bring a dish! The Defuniak Springs Daylily Club had a wonderful ‘Happy Easter’-‘Do the bunny hop’ meeting on Tuesday, March 24. We were slack some members due to spring break and other matters, but we had three guest that became members.
We had a jammed packed schedule! We had a good speaker, wonderful auction, raffle, door prizes and games! We had a prosperous business meeting where it was decided to host Region 12 Fall Meeting on Saturday, October 3!
I feel we’ve been very successful, considering all that has taken place within the last two years as we’ve reformulated the club after YEARS of not meeting.
We are very blessed with over 50 members at present and still growing! on average the club has 50-80% of our membership in attendance each month!
We have some fun filled activities and opportunities in the works for the public to become involved in (plant sale and others)!

Please be on the lookout for next month’s meeting April 28, ‘In the Good Old Summertime’!

We would love to have you come and join us as there is something for everyone! Each visitor/new member will receive a free daylily and opportunities for many other plants and prizes!

JANUARY MEETING CANCELLED! PLEASE BE SURE TO LET OTHERS KNOW!
The DeFuniak Springs Daylily Club January 27th meeting has been postponed until February 24.
The 'Birthday Party' theme will remain the same with many of the same planned activities.
Our guest speaker will be 'Gossard'! We will have piles of daylilies for door prizes, raffles, and an auction!
Everyone will have an opportunity for something, along with other items! Please mark this down and share the changes with your friends! No membership is required to attend our meetings! More information coming soon!
