💕 What a wonderful and heartwarming day we shared today at the Life Enrichment Center! 💕

Mayor Bob Campbell and his wife were the stars of our show, bringing smiles, laughter, and so much joy to everyone. A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank-you to Chrissy Morris Howell for sponsoring such a special Pink Out event! 💗

After the recent hurricane, our community has been through so much, and today was a beautiful reminder of the power of coming together, lifting one another up, and finding joy even during difficult times. For a few precious hours, everyone could set aside the worries of returning home to houses still without electricity and simply enjoy the laughter, fellowship, and love that filled the room.

We are so grateful for days like these and for the wonderful people who help make them possible. Our hearts are with everyone still working to recover from the storm, and we continue to hold our community close as we move forward together. 💗🌸

A little pink, a lot of love, and a reminder that even after the storm, brighter days are ahead! 💕

Our October Monthly Potluck will be extra special as we come together for Pink Out 2026 – Breast Cancer Awareness Event, hosted by CenterWell Home Health.

Here’s what we have planned:
• 10:00 AM – Vendor Fair – Come early to visit our vendors, gather helpful information, and enjoy the morning.
• 10:30 AM – Sassy Senior Singers – Enjoy a special performance from our very own singers!
• 11:00 AM – Guest Speaker – Learn important information about breast cancer awareness, prevention, early detection, and treatment.
• 11:30 AM – Lasagna Lunch – Then it is time to eat! Join us for a delicious lasagna lunch and fellowship with friends.

There will also be giveaways, snacks, refreshments, and plenty of fellowship throughout the event.

Whether breast cancer has touched your life personally or you simply want to show your support, we hope you will join us for a meaningful morning of education, encouragement, fellowship, and hope.

The Life Enrichment Center invites you to join us for “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s,” an educational program presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and the Ray of Hope Senior Coalition.

This informative program will help participants learn how to recognize common signs of Alzheimer’s disease, how to approach someone about memory concerns, the importance and benefits of early detection and diagnosis, possible tests and assessments, and resources available through the Alzheimer’s Association.
