Thank you to the Childrens The Children's Museum of New Hampshire. Today our Green Thumb Club kids made seed bombs and the handy little scoopers that were in the grant box were just perfect for the job! One more session of Green Thumb Club next week.

Mark your calendars. Thanks to the CLiF engagement grant we were able to have our preschoolers kick off the summer reading program a little early . We've planned the morning to work around the DCS Preschool program, so we hope you can join us at the Town Hall on Church Street. (where you vote). Bring a friend.

Last week we discovered bugs. This week we will discover wetlands and may even have a surprise guest who makes their home there. Remember to bring your adventure guides when you come. If this is your first visit to Green Thumb Club let me know and I'll be sure to give you one.

Thank you to all who supported the Deerfield Coffeehouse this past Saturday evening, to benefit the Friends of the Deerfield Library. It was a huge community effort---with set up volunteers, bakers and food makers, coffee crew, ticket takers, clean up, and of course, the talented musicians and appreciative audience members! Best part of all? It was fun! 🥳 Want to join the party? The next Friends of the Library meeting is Thursday, June 4th at 7:00pm at PJL.

This will take the place of our regular Wednesday am Story Time. We will continue to offer Story Time on Tuesday @ 9:30 through the month of June. Stay tuned for our Summer Reading Schedule.

Just a reminder, the Coffeehouse will be here before you know it. If you haven't already, contact Leslie to order your tickets. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Deerfield Library, which ultimately benefits the Deerfield Community by ways of museum passes, children's and adult events.
There is a sign up sheet in the library if you are so inclined to provide some type of snack for the evening.

Coming soon to the Deerfield Town Hall. It's our favorite Deerfield tradition, Coffeehouse! The Friends of the Library are the beneficiaries of this event. The Friends group sponsors such things are museum passes and library events here at Philbrick James Library. Please sign up to bake or help out with set up or clean up if you can. Sign up sheets can be found at the library. Ticket information is at the bottom of the flyer.
