💙 HUGE THANK YOU TO DEERFIELD HIGH SCHOOL FBLA! 💙

This June, these amazing students stepped up for their community by hosting a food drive, and the results are inspiring. Thanks to their hard work and your support, they dropped off:
💵 $150 in monetary donations
🍎 230 POUNDS of food!
All of these donations have been delivered straight to the Deerfield Food Pantry to help fill the shelves and support our neighbors in need. Thank you, DHS FBLA, for demonstrating true leadership, compassion, and community spirit.

📅 But wait, they aren't stopping there!
If you missed the June drive or want to keep the momentum going, they have two more summer food drives lined up. Save the dates:
Saturday, July 11th | 10:00 AM – Noon
Saturday, August 8th | 10:00 AM – Noon
📍 Where: Deerfield High School Back Parking Lot

Time flies when you’re having this much fun! ☀️ DCC Summer Camp has been so incredibly busy that we’re just now catching our breath to share what we’ve been up to over the last two weeks!
Safe to say, our campers have been living their best lives.

We have:
🎨 Gotten creative with Q-tip painting
🧘‍♀️ Found our zen with a virtual yoga fitness class
🦔 Made adorable fruit hedgehogs and read hedgehog stories
🏊‍♂️ Beat the heat with some indoor swimming and soaked up the sun at the park
🛼 Brought Skate Express right to DES!
🤸‍♂️ Capped it all off with an absolute blast bouncing around at Urban Air!

🙌 Huge shoutout and thank you to the DES PE Department for letting us borrow skates when we had to cancel our field trip due to weather—you rock!

Week 1 of summer camp started on Monday, and we packed so much fun into these first few days! ☀️

From science to splashing, here is a look at what we have done so far:

🕹️ Leveled up our gaming skills at Geeks Mania

💦 Made a splash at the Cambridge Pool and enjoyed some park time at the West Side Park

🐾 Got creative with our hands-on Animal STEM project

🍦 Made (and immediately ate) our delicious no-bake project - ice cream!

🕺 Showed off our best moves with some epic Just Dance

If week one is this good, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! 🕶️✨
