I was honored to have the opportunity to join the first Pheasants Forever-Quail Forever fly-in caucus group to Washington DC last week, and to represent Pheasants Forever Wisconsin. Our group of dedicated Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever volunteers from across the county met with US Senators and their aides to discuss the importance of passing a Farm Bill with strong bipartisan support for conservation programs like CRP, SAFE, and EQIP. Seeing our PF-QF national Government Affairs team navigate Capital Hill was amazing and inspiring. It was tremendous to have the opportunity to tell the story of how Farm Bill programs impact our lives as conservationists and hunters. Our GA team really knows how to build relationships and get things done in DC for us! Incredible experience. I am proud to be part of a national conservation organization that has such a profoundly positive impact on wildlife habitat, water quality, soil conservation, and biodiversity! It was also great to revisit the DC memorials and take in some museums!

An exciting new raffle has been added to the SE WI Pheasants Forever Open House Event!!!

We will be raffling some beautiful hand made custom Walnut woodworking items. Included in the raffle is a Walnut gun cleaning table and an engraved PF sign, designed and built by Rob Elsbury. Rob also threw in an heirloom quality Sage and Braker firearm cleaning kit (Firearm in photo is NOT part of the raffle). The gun cleaning table is 60" long, 24" wide, and 36" tall.

Tickets will be sold the day of at McMilller: 1 ticket for $20.00 or 3 tickets for $50.00. Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing. We look forward to seeing everyone at McMiller on June 20th! 🎉
