What a week. What a room. What a vibe.

The IBG VIP Biz Lounge and Elevate Mixer brought together an incredible mix of leaders, entrepreneurs, and partners, creating space for real conversations, new connections, and meaningful opportunities throughout RES week.

From early morning meetings to late afternoon networking, the Lounge truly lived up to its purpose: a place to connect, collaborate, and build.

We were also honored to have special appearances from Sean Sherman, Gary Farmer, and Anne Marie Gillen of The 7th Movie, bringing even more energy, storytelling, and inspiration into the space.

And the Elevate Mixer? The perfect way to bring it all together! Great energy, great people, and the kind of moments that remind you why this work matters.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our amazing sponsors:
Perodigm, Mavid Construction Services, LLC, Revel Investments, Skenandore Wilson LLP, M3 Insurance, Sun Bear Industries, Aambé, Woodstone Inc, NativeAmericans.com, Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association, and a special thank you to our reception sponsor Discover Navajo.

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, leaned in, and made this space what it was.

Until next time.

The Elevate Biz Lounge is bringing together business, culture, and film.

One of the sponsors is The 7th, a film about protecting the future of life, honoring Indigenous knowledge, and standing up against forces trying to control vital resources. During the lounge, attendees will have a special opportunity to connect with the film’s production team, including a meet-and-greet with actor Gary Farmer from 2pm - 3pm.

We’re proud that Rob Pero is serving as Co-Executive Producer on the project and working to bring Indigenous leadership and storytelling to the big screen.

Stop by the Elevate Biz Lounge to learn more about the film, connect with the team, and celebrate Indigenous creativity and entrepreneurship.

What a Year for Wisconsin Contractor Connection!

As we wrap up 2025, we are proud to celebrate an incredible year of WCC events. These four gatherings brought together contractors, project leaders, Tribal enterprises, and industry partners from across the state.

From our early-year sessions that focused on collaboration and procurement pathways, to mid-year conversations around energy, infrastructure, and capacity building, each WCC event strengthened relationships and expanded opportunities across Wisconsin.

Our final event of 2025 truly capped the year with something special. Held at The Madison Club, right off the Capitol Square, this gathering brought powerful insights on Wisconsin Infrastructure Projects: From Gaming to Energy to Roads & Workforce Empowerment. With speakers like Robb kahl of Construction Business Group and Daniel Webster MBA of Walbec Group, attendees explored how collaboration with Tribal nations and Native-owned firms can keep jobs local, expand contracting opportunities, and build long-term community impact.

Thank you to every attendee, partner, speaker, and organization that helped make the 2025 WCC series so engaging. The energy, conversations, and connections built this year are already shaping the work ahead. And we’re just getting started.

In 2026, WCC will return with four new events, fresh topics, deeper collaboration, and even more opportunities to build Wisconsin’s contracting ecosystem together. Stay tuned, big things are on the way!

Here’s to growth, partnerships, and a powerful year ahead.
See you in 2026!

Ever hear about an event after it happened — and wish you were there?
This is one of "those" events.

Wisconsin is building more than roads and infrastructure — we’re building connections. The WCC brings together Native-owned businesses, contractors, and public/private partners for one goal: to open doors, share resources, and create real opportunities across the state.

Hear from leaders who know how to make it happen — Robb Kahl (Construction Business Group), Rob Pero (Perodigm/IBG), and Collin Price (Revel49).
