The team of eight Haitian missionaries (Dr. Mike’s Haitian students) are set to start the Winter Anthrax vaccinations of 600 head of cattle in the ten villages of Upper Limbe. The start has been delayed because Agape Flights, the missionary group that delivers the vaccine, lost a plane and two pilots in a crash in the mountains.
The vaccinations prevent the deaths of the cattle from anthrax whose spores remain viable in the soil for up to 20 years. The cow is the family’s entire savings account and provides nutritious milk. Preventing anthrax in the cattle also protects children from the fatal disease. There have no recorded children Anthrax deaths since the program started in 2016 according to local doctors.

Agape Flights is the mission organization that Mike works with to deliver supplies to our Haitian brothers and sisters in Upper Limbe, Haiti. It is with sadness that we ask your prayers in support of the family and friends of 2 pilots who lost their lives when the Agape plane they were flying went down in the mountains of Haiti near the community of Jeremy. It is only with the help of Agape Missions that the Agricultural team in Haiti who Mike has trained is able to receive medicines and Bibles that they use to reach out to others in their community. This team provides free parasite control for farm animals. They also also provide yearly vaccinations of cattle against anthrax, which has saved hundreds of children's lives. They share the love of Jesus in tangible ways by helping them keep healthy animals to feed their families and to hear the gospel.

As we prepare for the next treatment cycle for the animals, we would like to get Bibles to take to the villages. We would like to ship the Bibles so they are there when our treatment team is ready to go to the villages. If you would like to donate Bibles, you could

The American Bible Society presents the Haitian Creole New Testament with Psalms. The Haitian Creole language is widely spoken in Haiti.
