The LEAF Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. LEAF (life essentials and food.) was established to help provide food and basic essentials to the youth in Powell County. Our first two seasons have been highly successful. With the support of donors like you and the dedication of our volunteers, we packed more than a 3,578 snack bags to the youth throughout Powell County in the second season, over 500 more than the previous season.
The average monthly cost of providing food and hygiene products to the youth in our community now exceeds $1800. We are currently raising funds for our upcoming third season and are committed to making it just as successful. As the need in our community continues to grow, so do the resources required to meet it. We respectfully ask for your support as we prepare for the 2026 to 2027 season. A gift of $25 can help provide a month of snack bags for one child and $100 or more can help stock snack bags and hygiene items for families with the greatest need.
Thank you for your continued consideration and generosity. Your support helps us sustain this important program and continue serving the youth in our community. We would be grateful for your contribution to help make the upcoming 2026 to 2027 season possible.

With the second season of the LEAF Foundation in the books. I wanted to take a moment and thank our volunteers Sandy Heaton and Rhonda Russell for helping make this season such a success. You two ladies are amazing!
Sandy Heaton, your devotion to the Foundation for the past two seasons and Garrison, has been remarkable. Sandy is truly one of my closest friends and biggest supporters of what we are doing. Her friendship and kindness is something I treasure and I look forward to working with you for the third season.
Rhonda Russell, your help with packaging and delivering for Deer Lodge has been just what I needed. With your knowledge, your laughter and your kindness, you made this season very fun and enjoyable. It is bittersweet though. Rhonda made quite an impact at the Foundation and in my life.She will truly be missed in the third season but your friendship will last a lifetime. Thank you
