Montana Cutting Horse Association The purpose of the Montana Cutting Horse Association is to encourage interest in cutting horses and to promote cutting horse contests.

The purpose of this Association shall be to encourage education in equine activities, interest in cutting horses and to promote the sport of cutting in the State of Montana as hereinafter specified:
a. By providing a venue for equine education,
b. By promoting cutting horse contests,
c. To encourage the development of, and public interest in, better horses and the ever increasing populari

ty of the true cutting horse,
d. By encouraging cutting horse contests wherever such contest shall be deemed to be in the public interest and by offering year-end awards as deemed appropriate,
e. By assisting the producers and managers of any approved contest in organizing and running such contest,
f. By striving to maintain a high standard of sportsmanship and fair play in the conduct of approved contests,
g. And by understanding any other actions which will further the purpose herein set forth. And Above all having good family fun!!!

Prayers to the Foote family and all those who knew Jonathan. We were proud to have him be a part of MCHA

We said goodbye to this handsome cowboy last night. He lived an amazing almost 91 years designing amazing buildings, riding great horses and living big dreams. Jon loved his family and friends and left quite a legacy. You are so loved and will be missed by your legends of friends and family. Go ride Gold San Peppy and cut the toughest cow in the herd. ❤️

PLEASE USE THE STALLS YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED FOR NCHA DAYS WEEKEND!!!
WE have had some trouble with horses in the incorrect stalls and it just makes for massive confusion. If everyone would please be courteous and use the stalls that are assigned to you we would appreciate it!

Here is the current Stall/RV chart to post on the MCHA page.

Fairgrounds management will now pre-bed stalls prior to your arrival and clean them upon departure. There will be a one-time, $20 fee for this service that will be charged, per covered stalls/outdoor pens, in addition to these rates: Stall $35/night, Outdoor Pens $25/night. Loose shavings are available to the north of the Pavilion and behind (west of) the Small Animal Barn. They are working to reduce large pieces in the bedding.

RV spots are FCFS, so if you have a preferred location, please arrive early to secure it. Rate is $30/night.
​**Fairgrounds management will NOT ALLOW parking on the lawns this show, please find other locations to park your LQ/trailers.**
