UFCW LOCAL 1445 LOBBY DAY

Stop & Shop Members and staff from Local 1445 and staff from Local 328 visited the Massachusetts State House to meet with State Senators and staff about our self checkout legislation bill.

Members told the officials about the problems in our stores and the way that better staffing levels will help them and loyal customers at the same time.

Senators were very interested to learn about our experiences and expressed strong support for delivering on this issue.

We will work for MA to be the second state to pass statewide restrictions to make sure our stores are properly staffed.

THANK YOU to our members who came today, and our International Union for all their help. please keep an eye out for our next Lobby Day!!!!
