DCD Camp, traditional day camp for children 3 years old-entering 10th grade Our Sports Camp is designed for the general sports enthusiast.

Traditional day camp activities include: swim lessons, free swim, archery, woodworking, sports & games, nature, cooking, drama, and more. Campers will play a variety of sports. The emphasis is on general fitness and having fun, as opposed to honing specific sports skills.

🌈 We wrapped up Rainbow Week with a colorful splash—literally! During Miss Megan Time, our youngest campers dove into a hands-on sensory experience with fluffy shaving cream, made even more magical with food coloring. A perfect way to celebrate a week full of color, creativity, and joy! 💙💚💖💛

Halfway through summer camp, and we’re feeling grateful for this special crew. These counselors and lifeguards — all alumni of Dedham Country Day School — have returned to give back to the place that shaped them. It’s a joy to watch them lead with heart, create lasting memories, and carry on the DCD spirit.

At Dedham Country Day Camp, our Polar Bears got a taste of “Winter Wonderland” during Megan Time — scooping, squishing, and exploring pretend snow! Who says you have to wait for winter to enjoy a snowy day at camp? 🐻❄️

🐄🎶 Whether it’s rain or shine, Lower Camp is always full of fun down on the farm! On yesterday’s rainy day, we kept spirits high with glitter tattoos and puffy paint fun indoors 🌧️🎨✨. Today, the sunshine brought us toe-tappin’ tunes and big smiles in music! 🎵🐖 From painted piggies to dancing like chickens, our barnyard adventures just keep growing! 💛🐓

🐷🐰🌾 Down on the Farm at DCD Camp! 🌾🐐✨

Today was full of furry friends and fabulous glitter! 🐾 Campers got up close with baby animals—from bunnies to piglets—and even had the chance to shine with sparkly tattoos 💫 Nothing says farm fun like smiles, snuggles, and sparkle!

From campers to counselors-in-training, these Dedham Country Day School students (and proud alums!) are spending their summer giving back to the community that helped shape them 🌟 Whether they're CITs or LITs, their leadership, energy, and heart are making a big impact every day at DCD Camp. This week, they took their commitment to the next level by completing CPR and First Aid training—learning how to keep our camp community safe while stepping confidently into their roles as future leaders. We’re so lucky to have them! 💙💛

🎶 Guess who’s back?! 🎶
The Polar Bears were all smiles today as they welcomed the legendary Mr Rob back to camp for Music! After a short retirement, Mr Rob has returned—and he hasn’t missed a beat. 🥁🎤 From silly songs to dance-alongs, his energy and joy filled the room and reminded us all why he's such a camp favorite. Welcome back, Mr Rob! 💙🐻
