It takes a special kind of heart to give your time, talents, and energy to a mission bigger than yourself, and we are incredibly grateful for the GE Aerospace team for coming alongside us to make a difference.

At Valor Ranch, our mission is about so much more than providing a place to call home. It’s about restoring hope, rebuilding lives, creating opportunities, and reminding our women veterans that they are never forgotten. We’ll be continuing our cattle fence project at Valor Ranch, supporting their mission to provide a ranch and community for women veterans.

Some losses are simply too heavy for words. 💔

Today, Valor Ranch is remembering Logan Burnett, one of the survivors of the horrific 2009 Fort Hood shooting.

Logan was shot three times that day. What followed was a journey no one should ever have to endure—more than 30 surgeries, years of physical pain, and wounds that went far beyond what could be seen. Despite his incredible strength and perseverance, Logan ultimately succumbed to the weight of his trauma and died by su***de.

In 2019, Valor Ranch was honored to serve Logan. During that time, we formed a very special bond with him, and he became part of our Valor Ranch family. We saw his courage, his heart, his humor, and the strength it took simply to keep moving forward.

Logan was more than what happened to him on November 5, 2009. He was a father, a warrior, a survivor, a friend, and a man who touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

His story is a heartbreaking reminder that the wounds of war and trauma are not always visible—and sometimes the battle continues long after the gunfire stops.

Logan, we are grateful that our paths crossed. We are honored that Valor Ranch was able to walk beside you, even for a small part of your journey. You will always have a place in our hearts. 🇺🇸❤️

"Take Charge Tuesday: Building Wealth Through Saving and Investing"

In partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Office of Field Operations (OFO) offers Veterans, transitioning Service members (TSMs), spouses, their family members, caregivers, and survivors the opportunity to participate in the Take Charge Tuesday, Financial Readiness for Life Financial Education series.

The series is designed to help address financial literacy gaps across the military and Veteran community and includes two programs:

a live financial education seminar offered once each quarter.
Seminar topics include investing beyond a military career, fraud prevention, and building wealth through saving and investing.

💗 Grace & Grit Gathering 💗

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the University of St. Augustine for facilitating our monthly Grace & Grit Gathering for our Valor Ranch Sheroes! 🇺🇸

What an amazing time of connection, encouragement, laughter, and sisterhood. These gatherings give our Sheroes a space to slow down, build relationships, grow together, and simply enjoy being surrounded by women who understand and support one another. ❤️

We are so grateful for the partnership and the time invested in our women veterans. Thank you for helping us create moments that remind our Sheroes that they are seen, valued, supported, and never alone.

We had an AMAZING time and can’t wait for the next one! 🥰

😂😂 Ohhh, that face says “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME, MOM?!”

First day in a diaper and she is already filing a formal complaint! 🐷😂

“Excuse me… I am a dignified bulldog. Why am I wearing underwear?!”

And that little piglet whining makes it even better. 🫢🤣 She’s going to need a little time to realize the diaper is there to help her, not humiliate her. ❤️🐾

She is absolutely adorable—even in her very confused “grumpy old lady” era! 😂
