🇺🇸 A Special Day at Valor Ranch! 🇺🇸

We were truly honored to welcome the American Legion Auxiliary National President, along with state representatives and American Legion Department of Texas, to Valor Ranch this week.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, tour our Healing Garden, meet our team, and learn more about the mission of serving women veterans through our Home of the Sheroes program. Your encouragement, support, and commitment to our nation’s veterans mean more than words can express.

It was a privilege to share the stories of the courageous women we serve and to showcase the impact that partnerships, compassion, and community support have on their healing journeys.

To the American Legion Auxiliary leadership—thank you for standing beside our veterans, advocating for those who have served, and for believing in the mission of Valor Ranch. Your visit was a blessing, and we are grateful for the opportunity to build stronger connections as we continue serving those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

🦃 Looks like the turkey population at Valor Ranch is officially on the rise! 🦃

Just when we thought we had our hands full with these little feathered troublemakers, another tiny turkey joined the flock! It seems our turkey family is multiplying faster than we can count.

From one little poult to a growing brood, we’re watching these babies spread their wings, find their voices, and keep us entertained every step of the way. Their curiosity, personalities, and endless peeping are a daily reminder that new life is always something to celebrate.

At this rate, we may need to start taking attendance every morning! 😂

Welcome to the newest member of the Valor Ranch family. We can’t wait to watch you grow alongside the rest of the flock.

Valor Ranch is a Decatur-based nonprofit dedicated to serving, honoring, empowering, and restoring women veterans by providing safe housing, healing programs, and support as they transition and thrive beyond military service. Their work is making a lasting difference in the lives of these incredible SHEROES.

It was a privilege to create this special cake in honor of the courageous women who have served our country with strength, sacrifice, and dedication.

This weekend, we were honored to welcome a dedicated team of UA Local 100 members to Valor Ranch through their C.A.R.E.S. program. These skilled volunteers generously gave their time and expertise to help advance our mission.

Together, we launched the first phase of a multi-weekend cattle fence project that will help Valor Ranch raise its own beef and move closer to long-term sustainability. More than a fence, it represents hope, opportunity, and a stronger future for the women veterans we serve as they rebuild their lives and create new paths forward for themselves and their families.

Every post set, weld completed, and hour donated was an investment in our heroes and Sheroes. Projects like this are possible because people choose to put their skills to work for something greater than themselves.

We are deeply grateful to the UA Local 100 volunteers who showed up with servant hearts, professionalism, and a commitment to giving back. Your efforts are helping build not only infrastructure, but also opportunity, independence, and healing.

This project is just beginning, and we look forward to continuing the work together in the months ahead.
