Orlando Last Day:
Distance from Orlando to DeForest: 1,200+ miles.
Amount of fun had: Immeasurable.
After a long bus ride back, we are officially settled back at home. Looking through the photos today, our final day at Epic Universe already feels like a dream! We got incredibly lucky when Stardust Racers—which had been closed for the last month—opened up just in time for our thrill-seeking students (and Mr. Hoeft) to get their coaster fix. 🎢🙌
A trip like this doesn't happen without an incredible support system. A massive THANK YOU goes out to:
Our Chaperones: For your endless energy, patience, and for keeping everyone safe (and on schedule!).
Our Bus Drivers: For navigating those long miles and getting us all back to DeForest safely! 🛣️✨
The bus ride was long, but the memories made it fly by. So proud of this group and the memories that are sure to last a lifetime. Go Norskies! ❤️

Orlando Day 4:

The energy was off the charts today as we took over Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! From high-speed coasters to immersive worlds, the group had a second wind and explored every corner of the parks.
We capped off the afternoon with the vibrant colors and music of the Mardi Gras parade—beads were definitely caught! 🎊 We decided to head back to the hotel a bit early to let everyone recharge with a swim and get those suitcases packed.
Hard to believe tomorrow is our final day, but we’re going out big at Universal Epic Universe before we head home!

Orlando Day 3:
We traded our sheet music for park maps today and had the best time exploring Disney’s Hollywood Studios! From outrunning the First Order to screaming our lungs out on the Tower of Terror, it was a day for the books.
We capped off the night with the best seat in the house for Fantasmic!—a perfect reminder that with a little imagination (and a lot of practice), anything is possible.
✨ Next stop: Universal and Islands of Adventure!

Orlando Day 2:

We spent the morning getting our fill of the Magic Kingdom, but the real highlight happened behind the scenes. We headed over to the Disney Imagination Campus for a professional recording session! 🎙️✨
Our clinician was absolutely incredible and pushed us to sound our best. After laying down a few tracks, we got to record "Remember Me" from Coco. The coolest part? Seeing our performance synced up to the movie scene with a little bit of that legendary Disney magic. 🎸💀
We ended the night exactly where we started—back at Magic Kingdom under the Happily Ever After fireworks. 🎆 Our hearts are full and our feet are tired. Orlando, you’re treating us well!

Orlando Day 1:
Deforest High School Band arrived at Cocoa Beach after a long day of travel. We visited the Ron Jon Surf Shop and then had time to swim and enjoy the beach. We had an excellent barbeque dinner at the beach before settling in to our hotel ☀️⛱️🏝️

🎤Huge congratulations to all the DeForest High School Choir students on a wonderful concert Tuesday night!

With a snow day taking away your final rehearsal, you still came together and delivered a beautiful evening of music. That kind of dedication and teamwork really showed. Well done to everyone involved! 🎶

🎤 The DAMS Choir took the stage last week for a powerful concert with the theme “Never Too Late.”

What a great reminder that it’s never too late to try something new, chase a goal, or lift your voice. The students did a wonderful job and should be proud of the heart they shared with the audience.
