Bikes for Charity Bikes for Charity is a non-profit to restore old and worn out bicycles to be donated. Note: I do not distribute the bikes I refurbish.

I hand them off to select local non-profit organizations that distribute them. I do not do direct donations.

The next bike is well underway! This youth bike has been stripped down to the frame and is ready for prep and paint. Thank you to a fellow co-worker for donating his son's old bike for this project. This bike will be going to Bikes for Kids Wisconsin upon completion.

The EZ Cruz cruiser has finally been delivered to Wheels for Winners! They were happy to place it in their 'Earn A Bike' program. This program provides free bicycles to those who could not normally afford them. All they have to do is perform 10 hours of volunteer community service to earn the bike. The cruiser is painted! Finally had a break in weather to be able to get the frame, fork, and chain guard painted. Early this morning I designed and cut out replacement decals and are ready to be put on the frame. Bottom bracket and crankset greased and installed. Several parts are coming in the mail thanks to your generous donations. Pictures coming soon!

I wanted to provide a much needed update. I apologize for the lack of progress posts. We are soon expecting our 3rd child and I haven't had much spare time to work on the donation bikes.

At the moment I have 3 bikes in queue behind the cruiser bike... 2 child BMX bikes and a teen mountain bike. I have stalled on the cruiser bike as I come up with a clean solution for painting the frame, and for future restorations.

I will post updates as I get things rolling again.

Happy Saturday! I apologize for the lack of updates, it has been a tough winter season. Currently working on another cruiser which is completely disassembled, sanded and ready for paint. I also have two small youth BMX bikes that are on standby until I get more room in the shop. I'll post pictures as they progress.
