It's not too late to register for the upcoming Pennsylvania 4-H Nature Journaling Adventure! 🌳🐾

Youth ages 5-18 are invited to join us for an exciting day of Nature Journaling at the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Millersburg, PA! The event will be held on Saturday, September 12.

Whether you're an artist, a nature enthusiast, a curious explorer, or all three, this program offers a unique opportunity to slow down, look closely, and engage with nature in a meaningful way. Every page of your journal will become a record of your own outdoor adventure!

Don't forget to register for State Leadership Conference Jr!

Join us on October 3 at Penn State's University Park Campus for a day-long workshop that introduces leadership skills to our young, up-and-coming leaders.

This event is open to 4-H'ers ages 10-13. It offers instruction on foundational leadership skills to prepare younger members to take on more roles as they continue to grow in 4-H. Participants will engage in small- and large-group activities and hands-on breakout workshops during the conference.

On Friday, August 7th, we hosted our annual Delaware County 4-H Dinner and Project Showcase in recognition of the accomplishments of our members and volunteers over the past year!

From photography to sewing and textiles to posters, our members showcased all of their projects from the 2025-2026 program year, receiving award recognition for their hard work. We also acknowledged dozens of our members and volunteers for their above-and-beyond efforts and are so grateful and proud of the kindness and dedication they demonstrate day after day as part of our 4-H community.

Days 2 and 3 of Eco Camp! 🌞

Over the past couple of days at The Willows Mansion, campers have been learning about different types of habitats and exploring some of the superpowers animals have! Activities included creating their own mini habitats, building beaver dams, birdwatching, and designing camouflaged butterflies.

It's Eco Camp week! 🌞😎

Today, we kicked off Day 1 of Eco Camp at The Willows Mansion with 20 eager and excited nature enthusiasts! Campers made nature journals, learned about pollinators, and explored the pond where we found an abundance of turtles, frogs, and water bugs.

Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the week has in store for us! 🌳🐾💚

Mark your calendar for State Leadership Conference Jr.! This year, SLC Jr. will be held on October 3 at Penn State University Park. The event is open to 4-H'ers ages 10-13.

Congratulations to Delaware County 4-H'er, Marisol, who earned two blue ribbons at the 2026 4-H Regional Fashion and Textile R***e Contests, hosted at the Penn State Berks Campus on July 8th! She is a member of our local 4-H Sewing Club and received recognition for her patchwork pillow and crocheted hat. Way to go, Marisol!
