This Is Not Your Ordinary Veterans Breakfast!

What makes this event truly special is that it is entirely organized, led, and funded by high school students!

These remarkable young men and women have taken it upon themselves to honor those who have served our nation, demonstrating that patriotism, gratitude, and respect for our heroes are alive and well in the next generation.
-------
This is much more than just a breakfast. It is a heartfelt expression of appreciation from our young people to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
--------
And this special event is not limited to Veterans!
All Veterans, Veterans' families, first responders, and active-duty military personnel are warmly invited to attend.
Come enjoy a wonderful morning of food, fellowship, and appreciation while supporting these outstanding students who are making a difference in their community.
--------
PLEASE RSVP — WE WANT TO KNOW YOU'RE COMING!
To help our students prepare and ensure there is plenty of food and seating for everyone, please let us know if you plan to attend and how many guests will be joining you.
Your response will help these dedicated students make this a memorable and successful event for everyone.
These students aren't just saying "Thank You" to our heroes—they're showing what those two words truly mean through their actions!
Let's show these young patriots how much their efforts mean to our Veterans and our community!

Join us on Tuesday, October 6th as we Ride With Purpose and Honor Them Together in a special procession welcoming The Wall That Heals to Delaware County. Riders will gather at the Veterans Memorial in Newtown Square after 9:30 AM, with KSU at approximately 11:30 AM, traveling together to the Aston Community Center.
This is more than a ride—it is an opportunity to honor our Vietnam Veterans, remember those whose names are forever etched on the Wall, and show our community’s gratitude for their service and sacrifice. Motorcycles, clubs, groups, and supporters are welcome—and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we switch to four wheels.

Celebrating 100 Years of Emil J. Latini Sr.
Emil J. Latini was born on September 23, 1926, in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, to Antonio and Elizabeth Latini. As a high school sophomore, his life was forever shaped by the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Inspired by the service of his uncles and driven by a deep sense of patriotism, Emil was determined to join the U.S. Navy. At just 17 years old, a senior, he was initially considered too young to enlist, but after much persuasion, his parents gave their consent.
Emil completed boot camp in Sampson, New York, before receiving specialized training for PT (Patrol Torpedo) boats. In 1944, he earned the rating of coxswain and was deployed to the Philippines, where he proudly served in the South Pacific during World War II. Following two years of honorable service, an ear injury required him to return home for medical treatment, after which he received an honorable discharge.
On February 3, 1951, Emil married the love of his life, Dolores. Together they built a beautiful family, raising four children—three sons and one daughter. Their marriage spanned an extraordinary 68 years until Dolores’s passing. Today, Emil’s legacy continues through six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
