Today we had the joy of delivering a Beautiful Beginnings basket to a very special baby — sweet Rita. 💛
There were lots of connections wrapped up in today’s delivery, which made it feel even more special. But honestly… isn’t that just Delco? Around here, someone always knows someone who knows someone else down the street. And that’s exactly how this community works.
Those connections are actually how we often find out about babies born with Down syndrome in the first place. This beautiful web of neighbors, friends, families, and supporters is what makes Beautiful Beginnings possible.
Quite simply, we couldn’t do this without YOU.

Little Rita is almost four months old and is the very loved caboose — baby number six — in her family! She is already surrounded by so much love and support and is thriving in OT. We were so happy to meet her and her wonderful parents and siblings, and we can’t wait to watch her grow and do amazing things.
