URGENT! PLEASE HELP!

We are at Guardian Veterinary Specialists with MECCA, an adorable 2 year old French bulldog we just picked up.

As you can see, MECCA has a significant uterine prolapse. It’s actually one of the worst prolapses we’ve ever seen, and this poor dog has been suffering with this condition since her second heat cycle.

Unfortunately, her family does not have the financial resources to care for MECCA, so she was surrendered to us this afternoon so we can get her the surgery she needs.

She is under the expert care of Dr Daniels at Guardian. Her surgery could be as soon as this afternoon. If not today, tomorrow. For now she is being made comfortable and receiving fluids and pain meds. She will remain in the hospital until Monday or Tuesday.

MECCA has a lovely personality. She’s great with people, other dogs, and cats!

Her surgery is estimated at $3,000.

Please help us help MECCA!

You can donate here on this post or on our website at passion4paws.org/donate.

Checks can be mailed to: Passion 4 Paws, PO Box 791, Dayville, CT 06241

Thank you for helping us help MECCA!

CALLING ALL ANGELS! Where are all the adopters for MONICA??? Please share!

Watch her video: https://youtu.be/0veZgGQsU1I?si=0r4TfOotPJJOWGw8

MONICA (DOB approximately 04/05/2026) is a playful kitten who enjoys the company of other cats.

With another friendly feline companion, MONICA will be an amazing companion. She already loves to play and cuddle with the other cats in her foster home, and at night when her foster family is watching TV, she's right there on the couch with them.

MONICA is spayed, vaccinated, and negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV).

If interested in adopting MONICA, please submit an online application to adopt a cat at passion4paws.org/adopt. She being fostered in Brookfield, CT.

The wood stove!

P4P alum CARL (now called CRASH) went with his mom Becky to visit her uncle in his assisted living facility - he explored and got stuck and got lots of love from the residents.

Doesn’t CRASH look amazing? We see the clarity of expression, his connectivity, and eye contact improving with each photo.

This is a dog who has been given a reason to live and to love!

We just got this fabulous update on CARL!

Becky writes:

Carl - who we call crash made a trip to the vet today and get established. He’s doing great. They were impressed how well

He was doing for what he went though. They are going to keep him on his meds. His lungs are clear. His color is good.

He’s so sweet! I tried to get a video of him running but he was camera shy - I’ll work on it.

You wouldn’t believe how great he’s doing.

We are soooo happy for our precious boy CRASH!

Check out the comments for a video of him!
