🚨REMINDER: Saturday, August 8th - Venetian Night!!! 🎉✨🪩🤩
For those who are new, Venetian Night is a night where we decorate our boats/properties with fun lights and then have a boat parade. We meet by the boat launch at 9PM for the parade and then have a big raft off party between the islands afterwards!!

🚨HELP NEEDED🚨
We are hoping that we can find some more people willing to be active participants in the DLHA! We have a few chair positions open & taking on a small job like one of these would be a good way to get started with us!
Please note that you do NOT need to attend every board meeting in order to be a chairperson & each of these positions takes very little time (and you’d never be alone — we all love working together!).

Open Positions Below:

•Ways and Means (There is nothing NEEDED from this position at this time, but if our expenditures increase then there will be more tasks)
-Manages fundraising projects for the DLHA, as needed
-Could include events like golf outings, raffles, encouraging dues payment, etc.
-Attend and participate in DLHA board meetings

•Spillway/Dam
-Monitors condition of the spillway and reports any maintenance needs to the DLIB (and DLHA board)
-Manages regular volunteer cleanup (self or other volunteers) of the spillway and surrounding area, to keep the flow of water consistent
-Attend and participate in DLHA board meetings

•Membership and Welcome
-Keep track of homes for sale and new neighbors moving in
-Work with Plat Representatives to keep a welcome information packet updated and available to give to new residents
-Work with the Treasurer to keep track of dues payments
-Verify voting eligibility at annual membership meetings
-Attend and participate in DLHA board meetings
