The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors recognized the Sonoma County 4-H Youth Development Program, its youth members, volunteers and community partners, and proclaim Oct. 4–10, 2026, as National 4-H Week.

Our volunteer David Ojeda Garcia spoke about his 10 years in 4-H as a Junior Leader and Teen Leader supporting STEM, Soccer, and Day Camps. David will be volunteering with Career Exploration and Healthy Living programs in the Roseland School District, helping inspire the next generation through hands-on learning and mentorship.

4-H volunteer and County Leadership Board President Sara Glashan spoke to her over 16 years of involvement witnessing the impact volunteers have on young people—teaching leadership, community service, public speaking, and hands-on skills. She has also experienced firsthand how 4-H helped both of her children grow and excel.

💚 Thank you to our incredible volunteers, families, and members who continue to Make the Best Better, and to the County of Sonoma for its continued support of our UCCE Sonoma 4-H Program and its positive impact on the lives of youth!

Our members have already been having a great time at the fair, and we can't wait to see more of our Woodcrest Pacers family there! 🤗

Tonight is a great opportunity for our Beginner 4-H members to experience the fair, see the livestock, cheer on our exhibitors, and learn more about the many things our club members are working on! 🍀

🎟️ Fair Entry & Wristband Details:
Please RSVP so we can have enough wristbands for members and their families. Wristbands will allow fair entry but do not include carnival rides. 🎡

After Beginner 4-H, you're welcome to stick around, explore the fair, support our exhibitors, and enjoy the evening together! 💚🎡
