Do you have a young thespian in the house? Are you looking for new adventures to take your kids on this summer?

Well, hop aboard Acme’s 9-day Summer Camp for kids ages 8-13!

Acme’s Summer Program is where the magic here at Acme really begins. Let your child be a part of a short play directed by experienced company members where they will learn the art of the stage, from auditioning, to delivering monologues, to putting on a fully-fleshed play. Our camp fosters creativity, teamwork, and confidence while teaching valuable theatrical skills.

Our Summer Camp lets your children become a part of something that’s more than just theatre. It’s building love for a craft and community that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Auditions for Anne Bonny and Mary Read, Late of the Island of Providence, Spinsters and Enemies of All Nations, are Charged with Piracies, Robberies, and Felonies OR The Pirates Wife, start in ONE WEEK! Link in bio!

About the show:
In 1720, Anne Bonny and Mary Read were captured off the coast of Jamaica, tried, and convicted of piracy. They were also charged, in the language of the court, with “behaving unladylike.” Acme alumnus, Briandaniel Oglesby’s 2023 play takes their true story and braids it together with the present moment, drawing a direct line from the indictments of two 18th-century women to the wave of state legislation now targeting drag performance and gender expression. Funny, fierce, and poignant, The Pirate’s Wife is truly a delight!
