Today marks a new chapter for the Hurt Hub at Davidson College. Our new visual identity and redesigned website are live, built around a mark that reflects the intersecting pathways of entrepreneurship, the communities we serve and our connection to Davidson College.

This launch is the result of countless hours from our team and close collaboration with our creative partners at Cooth. We're proud of what we built together.

Applications for the Avinger Impact Fund open TODAY! 🚀

Calling all Davidson College student innovators: if you've got a bold idea and the drive to bring it to life, this one's for you. The Avinger Impact Fund awards microgrants up to $8,000 to student entrepreneurs ready to grow their venture and grow as founders, backed by mentorship along the way.

Named in honor of Professor Robert L. Avinger, Jr. '60, this fund exists to fuel creativity, energy, and initiative in students just getting started.

📅 Applications open today and close October 2 at 11:59pm.
✅ Eligibility: first-years apply in spring, sophomores and juniors can apply fall or spring, and seniors apply in fall.

The Try Fund is officially open. Davidson College students can apply for up to $1,000 to bring a creative or innovative idea to life, whether that's a product, a service, or something entirely your own.

Andrew Ashur '19 is hosting his final office hours as Alumni Innovator-in-Residence on August 28 at the Hurt Hub. Two years of sharing what it really takes to build something like Lucid Bots, now named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 and #143 on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list.

This is not goodbye, just a shift. Andrew will stay deeply connected to Hurt Hub, but this is your last chance to catch him in this role.
