🚨 Lake Norman teens!!🚨
We’re now accepting new members for the Lake Norman Teen Council!

Join the Lake Norman Teen Council and make new friends with an interest in community service. This organization provides service projects, workshops, and the opportunity to go on teen trips. This council is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Departments of Cornelius, Huntersville and Davidson.

• Grades 6–12
• Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month @ 6 pm
• Committee members will meet @ 5:30 pm before every meeting

Wow! Another year of Lake Norman Teen Council filled with many great and contributing members to our community! We’ve really accomplished so much in the ‘25–‘26 school year and we can’t wait to see what all each of you will contribute as time goes on.🤩🥳

Congratulations to our new board members!! I’m sure that you will lead the LKNTC into even greater success. There are some more announcements for other positions coming out, so please pay attention to future emails.

We can’t believe it’s here already! LKNTC will be hosting our LAST MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!😢🤗
ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME and we would very much like to see everyone before summer!
‼️This meeting will also have Executive Board Member election results so please be present‼️
• We will have food, fun games, prizes, and a surprise sweet treat for members😋

Registration for next school year will open July 14, 2026. Past and current members must re-register if they plan to attend next school year including board and committee members.

We will hold our elections for each of the board positions so please be there—YOUR VOTE MATTERS. This votes will go towards individuals running to make LKNTC is even better for next year!

The odds were ever in our favor this past weekend in Winston Salem at the SYC Spring Convention!🏹🔥

We had 7 of our LKN Teen Council to travel and represent us at the conference. There, awards were presented for North Carolina’s teen councils, we had a Capital-themed ball where we got to dance and have lots of fun, saw the incredible council projects presented, and we did some more team building activities!🏛️

Thank you so much to YAC Winston Salem for hosting this great convention this year!! We can’t wait to return!
