In honor of Giving Tuesday, we kindly ask that you consider donating to the Janelle Lavender Tobin charity in honor of Janelle. Although we did not host an in person fundraiser this year, the charity continues to support those battling cancer, funds research, and awards scholarships to HS seniors. This charity wouldn’t be successful without your heartfelt support, unconditional love, and extreme generosity. We thank you for your support and the ways in which you’ve helped us to keep Janelle's legacy alive.

💜🌻Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our friends and family that have supported the Janelle Lavender Tobin Charity. The Charity started in 2019 and has had 5 successful fundraisers. Your generosity has helped to fund research at MGH for Ewing Sarcoma. Janelle’s oncologist recently submitted research for a Clinical Trial treatment that was partially funded by the Charity. Scholarships have been given to students who wrote essays on how they chose “Happiness is a Choice” when faced with adversity, as Janelle did while fighting cancer. Your support has helped honor Janelle and provided donations to individuals and their families while fighting cancer. We are very thankful that the support for Janelle’s Charity has allowed us to honor Janelle and help others.

As a family, we have decided to not have a formal fundraiser this year. The Charity is not ending. The Charity will continue to help others. We will refocus on future fundraisers.

The Charity fundraiser was typically held during the month of September to honor Janelle’s birthday, September 8th. As we continue to help others we appreciate your support. The Tobin family would like to give a big thank you to Madison Darisse, Isabelle Latusky, Sophia Strong, and Maddie Hanas. Those 4 young ladies are part of the National Junior Honor Society at the Holden-Richmond Middle School in Danvers. They sold sunflower seeds at DHS sporting events this spring and raised $542 for the Janelle Lavender Tobin Charity Scholarships. We are very thankful for their thoughtfulness and hard work. Their energy and kindness remind us of Janelle. Their hard work will support this year's scholarships. 💜🌻
