Today, September 3, Corporate Angel Network recognizes California Neuroblastoma Awareness Day and stands with the children, families, survivors, researchers, and advocates impacted by neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is a serious pediatric cancer, and more awareness can bring greater visibility, stronger advocacy, and increased attention to the research needed for better treatments and cures.

For years, CAN has helped hundreds of neuroblastoma patients reach the specialized treatment they need, including Mikaela, whose journey with neuroblastoma has inspired advocacy and helped bring greater awareness to this disease. We are especially proud to celebrate Mikaela’s instrumental role in helping make California Neuroblastoma Awareness Day a reality.

We are grateful to Senator Sasha Renée Pérez for her leadership and advocacy in championing SR 128, recognizing September 3 as California Neuroblastoma Awareness Day.

Today, we join the Pediatric Hope Project and the neuroblastoma community across California in honoring the children fighting this disease, remembering those we have lost, celebrating survivors, and supporting the families who stand beside them. 💛
