Honored to support this campaign and to connect with HOOVES as winners this week. It’s always incredible to meet more amazing people putting in the work for our veterans.

🐴💙 WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE! 💙🐴

We are incredibly excited and grateful to announce that H.O.O.V.E.S. was selected as one of the winners of the Horses for Mental Health Challenge! 🎉

For those who may not be familiar, Horses for Mental Health presents a new challenge each week that is open for ANYONE to participate in! These challenges help bring awareness to the powerful connection between horses and humans while encouraging individuals and organizations to share their stories, make connections, and support one another.

This month has been filled with awareness, connection, education, and celebrating the powerful horse-human bond through The Wild Connection, HORSETOBER, and Pass the Braid!

We are so thankful to Horses for Mental Health for creating these opportunities and to all of the amazing organizations that have stepped up to donate prizes and support this initiative.

🇺🇸🐴 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO Veterans K9Equine Alliance!

We are especially grateful to David Vieira and Veterans K9Equine Alliance, who generously offered to purchase $250 worth of feed for our horses!

Being an organization dedicated to helping veterans through the healing power of horses, this particular donation means even more to us.

Veterans K9Equine Alliance shares a similar heart for serving those who have served, recognizing the important role that animals can play in healing, connection, and support.

Not only are we incredibly thankful for a donation that will directly benefit our herd, but we are also grateful for the opportunity to learn about and connect with another organization doing such meaningful work for veterans.

We encourage our H.O.O.V.E.S. community to take a moment to check out Horses For mental Health and Veterans K9 Equine Alliance and learn more about the wonderful work they’re both doing to support veterans and horses !

❤️ THANK YOU to Horses for Mental Health, Veterans K9Equine Alliance, and every organization that continues to make these challenges possible.

Together, we can continue raising awareness, building connections, and making a difference!

🇺🇸 NATIONAL DAY OF THE DEPLOYED 🇺🇸

Today, we honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who have answered the call to serve far from home.

Deployment means more than leaving behind familiar places. It means missed birthdays, holidays, milestones, and moments with loved ones that can never be replaced. It means sacrifice not only by those wearing the uniform, but also by the families waiting for their safe return.

At Veterans K9Equine Alliance, our mission focuses on supporting veterans after their service, but we never forget those who are still serving and the sacrifices they continue to make.

To every service member currently deployed, every veteran who has served overseas, and every military family holding down the home front: We see you. We honor you. We thank you. ❤️🤍💙

May those serving far from home return safely to the people who love them.

We take care of the animals who take care of our veterans. 🐾🐴🇺🇸

🇺🇸🐾🐴 National Pets for Vets Day!

Some heroes have paws. Others have hooves. Both have the power to heal. ❤️

For many veterans, healing comes with a wagging tail, a gentle nudge from a horse, or the quiet companionship of an animal that asks for nothing in return.

At Veterans K9Equine Alliance, we believe in the incredible power of the bond between veterans and the animals that bring them comfort, purpose, and hope.

Today, we celebrate those four-legged heroes who make a difference without ever saying a word. ❤️🇺🇸

🐾🐴 Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! 🩺

This week, October 18–24, we proudly recognize the dedicated veterinary technicians who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our animals healthy, comfortable, and cared for.

At Veterans K9Equine Alliance, we understand just how important these incredible professionals are. From routine wellness visits to emergency medical care, veterinary technicians play a vital role in the health and well-being of the service dogs and therapy horses that make a difference in the lives of our nation’s veterans.

Their compassion, expertise, and dedication don’t just help animals. They help ensure those animals can continue changing lives.

To every veterinary technician, THANK YOU for the long hours, the compassion, the patience, and the countless lives you touch every day. Your work matters more than you may ever know. ❤️
