There was a whole lot of pink at Fowler yesterday. 💗

Residents and team members lined the route to cheer. Walkers moved through campus together. Friends encouraged one another. And Fowler resident artist paused along the way to capture the people and beautiful moments around her.

For many in the Fowler family, breast cancer has touched their lives personally or through someone they love. That made this morning of walking, learning, remembering, and supporting one another especially meaningful.

Our fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Community Walk & Program brought our community together for a morning of awareness, education, support, and hope.

Thank you to everyone who was part of such a meaningful morning. 💗

We may still be waiting on true fall weather, but the pumpkins are here! 🎃 Fowler Christian Apartments residents enjoyed a seasonal morning of pumpkin decorating with the Dallas County Master Gardeners this week. We’re always grateful for their visits, their expertise, and the time and care they continue to pour into our Fowler community. 🍂

Fair food without the crowds? Yes, please! 🎡 Pearl Nordan Care Center residents enjoyed corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, popcorn, and a little State Fair fun right here at Fowler. 💙

We loved seeing some familiar Fowler faces on NBC 5! 🎨💙

NBC 5 recently visited Fowler to talk with residents about ArtsInspire: Ageless Creativity and the role creativity can play in healthy aging.

As Nicole shared in the story, purpose matters at every age. Continuing to learn, create, and challenge our minds gives us meaningful ways to stay engaged throughout life, and art is one beautiful way to do just that.

We loved hearing our residents share what creating means to them. Take a few minutes to watch the story below!

🧠💚 Today is World Mental Health Day.

As Ami Edge, LMSW and Ebby House Program Manager at Fowler, reminds us, caring for our mental health deserves the same attention and compassion we give our physical health.

Mental health challenges can touch anyone, at any age or stage of life. That includes young people navigating crisis or instability, caregivers carrying the emotional weight of supporting someone they love, and each of us managing the everyday stresses life can bring.

ometimes, the strongest thing we can do is simply say, “I’m not okay,” and allow someone else to walk alongside us.

Today is a reminder to:
💚 Check in on yourself
💚 Check in on someone you love
💚 Give yourself permission to rest
💚 Ask for help when you need it
💚 Practice compassion — for yourself and others
💚 Help reduce the stigma around mental health

You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to go through it alone. Let’s create communities where seeking support is a sign of strength, not shame.

Fowler has been out and about in the community! 💙
Saleta represented Fowler at a Parkinson’s symposium last weekend, where she spent time connecting with attendees and even got to send one lucky door prize winner home with a plant. 🌿 Marisela also represented Fowler at the 2026 Aging & Housing Summit, bringing together organizations and resources focused on aging, housing, and support for older adults in Dallas.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to meet people where they are, share more about Fowler, and stay connected to the community we serve!

Yesterday was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy Dallas! 🌿 Residents from Carroll, one of Fowler’s Memory Support neighborhoods, took a trip to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, where they enjoyed the gardens, the fall displays, and plenty of time together along the way. 🍂💙

What a great night in the neighborhood! 💙💚 Fowler residents and teammates had such a strong turnout last night for National Night Out - East Dallas at Willis Winters Park, right next door to our campus.

It was wonderful to spend the evening with neighbors, families, and friends and to see so many familiar Fowler faces enjoying the fun together. Just one more reason we’re proud to call East Dallas home!

On Tuesday, October 13, Juliette Fowler Communities will host our fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Community Walk & Program.

Residents, team members, families, friends, and community members are invited to join us for a meaningful morning of awareness, education, support, and hope.

This year's theme, Knowledge Brings Hope: Learning Together. Walking Together., reminds us that no one should walk this journey alone.

The morning will include a community walk through the Fowler campus, an educational presentation from Baylor Scott & White Health, and an opportunity to add a message to our Community Cancer Banner.
