Dallas Socratic Society

Dallas Socratic Society The DSS is a group used to meet on the second Monday of every month (from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm) to discuss topics in the philosophy of religion.

In a typical DSS meeting, someone reads a paper and we then have discussion. Dallas Socratic Society participants place a premium on clear argument, reason and evidence. The papers presented are intended to be both lucid and rigorous. The primary tools of investigation employed by the DSS are those of analytic philosophy - although other perspectives are welcome.
