We had the pleasure of partnering with our friends at Prudential to provide pantry staple kits to Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) for their upcoming Community Resource Fair.

Often times items like olive oil, spices, flour, and sugar are missing at local food pantries. Together with CPAL and Prudential we were able to build 200 bags, containing over 1,000 items. 👏

These staples are perfect timing for the upcoming holiday cooking season. 🍪

For the first time in its 35-year history, the Texas Volunteer Management Conference will welcome a cohort of Student Leaders.

We are inviting schools district to bring up to 10 student leaders in grades 9–12 for a day of expanded learning and professional development alongside volunteer leaders from across Texas.

During the conference, students will:
⭐Build leadership skills they can use beyond the classroom
⭐Learn how to plan and lead volunteer activations for themselves and their peers
⭐Explore career paths in the nonprofit sector

Thanks to the generosity of Lyda Hill Philanthropies, admission is complimentary for all participating students and their chaperones, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Today is North Texas Giving Day! For fifty-five years, we have built VolunteerPower across Texas. This year, we are rebuilding our technology platform, VOLY.org, to better serve the next generation of volunteers.

On September 12th, volunteers and supporters around the nation will unite for good to give back and honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

For 35 years, the Texas Volunteer Management Conference has been where leaders who power our communities come together to learn, connect, and strengthen volunteerism. This October, TVMC is inviting the next generation to join us. 🌟

For the first time in TVMC history, 50 high school students from across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex will join us on Thursday, October 15, for a dedicated youth track. 🏫

Youth leaders gathered over the summer to help shape the conference program, and their ideas and perspectives will be featured throughout Thursday’s learning experience.

This initiative is part of broader support from Lyda Hill Philanthropies for youth volunteerism and represents an important investment in the future of volunteer leadership.
