We are so thankful for neighborhoods like Highland Meadows right here in Lake Highlands.

Each year, they host a delicious end of the school year BBQ. They don't ask for neighbors to pitch in money for any of the AMAZING BBQ. Instead, they encourage neighbors to donate to Feed Lake Highlands.

We are so grateful for their incredible generosity! They raised over $300 for Feed Lake Highlands, helping make a real difference for those in need. This is what community is all about — good food, good company, and giving back.

Here’s to more moments like this that remind us how lucky we are to have each other. ❤️

This Mother’s Day, we honor the strength, sacrifice, and love of every mother doing everything she can to make sure her children do not go hungry.

At Feed Lake Highlands, we see the quiet courage of mothers every week — mothers skipping meals so their children can eat, mothers standing in line with hope in their hearts, mothers carrying the weight of providing for their families during difficult times.

To every mom fighting for her family, we see you. Your love is powerful, your sacrifice matters, and your strength inspires us daily.

This Mother’s Day, let us come together as a community to make sure no mother has to choose between feeding herself or feeding her child. Because when we feed a family, we nourish hope. ❤️

Hey everybody! Don't forget that THIS Saturday is Stamp Out Hunger! All you have to do is put a bag of non perishable foods on your porch that morning, and your mail carrier will pick them up. Feed Lake Highlands is a recipient and these items will go directly back into our community. We appreciate everything this community does to help us serve our neighbors in need!
