Happy Father’s Day to every father and father figure including those celebrating this day from behind prison walls.

You are loved.
You are necessary.
You are valued.
You are chain breakers.

A bar code can’t define your fatherhood. A letter, a phone call, a prayer , these still reach your children and remind them they’re not forgotten. Stay present, no matter where you are. Your love still matters. Your legacy is still being written.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Girls Breaking Chains!

💜Today our girls celebrated Galentine’s Day with a fun paint party. A few of the girlies had never painted a portrait before, and it was beautiful to watch them create, laugh, and connect. Some even dedicated their artwork to their mom or grandma, which was such a sweet gesture.

💗Thank you to our community for your continued support. Your partnership makes experiences like this possible. Please continue to support us as we create more meaningful moments for our girls. Also, thank you to Ms. Patricia for making today special for the girlies.

🙏🏾No matter how you celebrated today, know that you are loved every day by God.

💜Happy Galentine’s Day!💗

Our January mentoring sessions focused on connection and community, a core part of our mission to support girls impacted by parental incarceration. 💜

Through girl talk and reflection on carrying each other’s burdens , the girls shared meaningful ways they showed up for friends and family and how others have showed up for them.

Reminding us that healing and growth happen when girls feel seen, supported, and connected.

It’s Thank Your Mentor Day! 💜

Growth is a journey, but you don't have to walk it alone. Today, we’re taking a moment to honor the incredible people who show up, listen, and lead with heart. Whether they taught you a new skill or simply stood by your side, their impact is lasting.

To our GBC mentors: Thank you for your time, your wisdom, and your unwavering belief in our girls. You are the chain-breakers! ⛓️✨

Who has helped you grow? Tag your mentor in the comments and let them know how much they mean to you! 👇🏾

MLK Day of Service was a lesson in service and unity .

Girls in our program gathered with families and friends to prepare Love Bags for Tackle the Shackles, a ministry committed to restoring dignity and hope to those impacted by incarceration.

As the girls worked together, we paused to discuss why serving others matters. Every Love Bag was prayed over and included an encouraging card written with care and compassion.

“Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, and a soul generated by love.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We saw greatness grow today through service, teamwork and encouragement.
