Winding Down and Cranking Up

This past week Medici Project had 2 groups come in from The Ohio State University with their service organization Buck-I-SERV. Buck-I-SERV is the largest Alternative Break Program in the nation, and these students came to Atlanta this winter break to serve in multiple areas. We had 1 group that served with organizations fighting Human Trafficking. We had another group working in a Juvenile Detention Center with young men who have been locked up.

There are numerous stories that came from this week. A lot of laughter, tears, and learning. Do you have a University, Church, or even a business in mind that a would love to get plugged in and serve? Or maybe you’d love to get some end of year giving taken care of to help further our mission to inspire and equip people to love and serve their own communities while loving on our local cities?

According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness the numbers for homelessness have increased 12% amidst the current climate of the United States... We're beginning to plan our Winter 2021 groups to help combat this crisis and start to help with post-COVID efforts. Today we're highlighting & celebrating one of our New York partners . They help provide aid to the homeless population in NYC buy providing food, clothing, jobs, etc. With more than 6,000 volunteers they are helping make a serious change!
