Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals is a committee for professionals ages 18 - 45. We are always willing to lend a helping hand!

Citrus Chamber Young Professionals aim to assist area young professionals in growing their business, becoming involved in our community, and making lasting personal and professional contacts. The YPs are proud to be a part of the annual Golden Citrus Scholars event that honors local graduating seniors who have excelled in areas of leadership and academics. Your Friday plans just got a little more fun!

Tomorrow afternoon, we’re taking over Crumps Landing for a hometown celebration with Citrus County native and Nashville recording artist Julia Davis as she gives Citrus County the first listen to her upcoming single, Backwoods Baby.

Before the song hits the world, it’s coming home, and we get to be part of that moment!

Come hang out with the Young Professionals, enjoy a fun afternoon by the water, bring your friends, and help us celebrate one of our own doing big things. Expect good music, great company, appetizers, raffles, photo ops, and plenty of “this feels like Citrus County” energy.

Boots encouraged. Friends strongly encouraged. Leaving work a little early? We won’t tell. 😉

Friday night was one for the books. The Young Professionals showed up dressed to impress and ready to celebrate our very own Kyle McKay, recipient of the Mandi Warren Richards Rising Star Award.

This recognition is given to a young professional who’s already making a meaningful impact and clearly on the path to long-term leadership. If you know cowboy Kyle, you know this one was well deserved.

A huge shoutout to our fellow Young Professional Amanda Oestrich for organizing such a beautiful and impactful event at the 28th Annual Hat’s Off Fashion Show in support of the Key Training Center.

This special event brings our community together to celebrate, support, and raise funds for individuals with developmental disabilities through an afternoon of fashion, fun, and generosity.

Amanda truly went above and beyond to help make the day so memorable. Events like this remind us how powerful community involvement can be when passionate people step up to make a difference.

We’re proud to see our Young Professionals group represented in such a meaningful way. And a fun bonus seeing our very own Karla Hernandez join the runway as one of the volunteer models!

👏 Way to go, Amanda, and thank you for all the heart and hard work you put into this event.

Proud to see our very own YP member Kyle McKay Construction and Design out at the Citrus County Building Alliance Jim Blackshear Memorial Golf Tournament ⛳️

Kyle showed up as both a sponsor and a player, supporting a great day on the course with an even greater cause. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County, investing directly in the future of our local youth.

Thanks for tipping at the beer tent today at the Manatee Festival 🍻

Every tip goes a long way in supporting the Young Professionals, helping fund community initiatives, scholarships, and programs that invest directly in local youth. We were busy, the weather was gorgeous, and the community showed up strong.💖

We’ll be back tomorrow at Gate 7 as we head into Day Two of the Florida Manatee Festival.🌞
