I just returned from a trip to the George Washington Carver National Monument to give a talk Saturday for their annual Carver Day festival. The talk was about my 30 years with Dr. Carver. I worked on it for over a month, a couple of hours a day, and then backed off the script and just reeled out what I know, very relaxed and very well-received. Will get a video of it, to appear on georgewashingtoncarver.us or here when I get some video editing done on it.

We had a great open house with Virginia Cooperative Extension Director, Dr. Gutter, and many other elected officials and stakeholders. It was so much fun showing off how the new Food Enterprise Center space is coming along and learning about all the other projects happening at the Carver Center.
