Tonight our club held our annual “End-of-Year” Picnic before we take our summer meeting break.

We swore in our new officers for the upcoming year, presented some awards and had a delicious dinner along with some great fellowship!

At our end-of-year picnic dinner tonight, outgoing President George Todd presented incoming President Billy Drewer with the prestigious Melvin Jones Award.

This award is named for Lions Club International Founder Melvin Jones. The award is the highest form of recognition and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. The recipient of this award becomes a model because of the exemplary service to their club and the community it serves!

Crisfield Community, we need your help!

We have been contacted by the State of Maryland regarding the Deborah Emely Memorial Swim Meet, held annually Crab Derby Saturday. Due to changes with event approvals at Somers Cove Marina, We must have an active LICENSED AND CERTIFIED Lifeguard for our event or we will be forced to cancel the event.

If you or anyone you know is one and would be willing to volunteer an hour of your time to help keep this great tradition alive for our community, please message us!
