CALLING ALL COOKS—WE NEED YOU! We have the judges! We have the trophies and the prize money. Now we just need a few more contestants to fill every spot! If you thought you missed the deadline, we have GOOD NEWS, the entry deadline has been extended until Wednesday, Sept. 2! You don’t need a fancy or unusual recipe. Enter your favorite family dish, a delicious crab cake or any recipe featuring crab meat. The 62nd Annual Crab Derby Cooking Contest will be held Friday, September 4. We provide the crabmeat; and you provide the recipe.Help us fill in the remaining spots! We are looking for donations! To help prepare for our art camp next year, we are looking for your help! If you are willing, we need bolts of white fabric, toys for prizes, and empty creamer jugs for one of our crafts. Finally, if you are willing, we would also like a few canvas’s of any size and acrylic paint for our many craft ideas! This month we are open Monday - Saturday, 11-3pm. If you catch us while we are closed, feel free to leave them at our door! Thank you to all!
