It’s been a busy several weeks for the Crewe Volunteer Fire Department, with our crews responding to multiple fires and emergencies throughout our community.

We’re especially thankful for the continued support of our neighboring departments across Nottoway County. We all come together with one goal — protecting and serving our communities.

The 2026 Crewe Fire Classic is officially in the books! 🔥

We cannot thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting the Crewe Volunteer Fire Department. The support this tournament receives year after year from our golfers, sponsors, businesses, and community is truly incredible.

A special thank you to all of our golfers for sticking with us through a little less-than-perfect weather and still making it a great day!

This tournament has become a huge fundraiser for our department, and we couldn’t make it happen without all of you. Your continued support means more to us than you know.

And finally, a HUGE congratulations to our 2026 Crewe Fire Classic Champions! 🏆

Thank you for another great year.

Another big thank you to two businesses helping us out with this year’s Crewe Fire Classic!

Easter is sponsoring lunch for our golfers this year, and Benchmark is taking care of dinner after the round.

Having businesses willing to step up and support our tournament means a lot to us. We appreciate Easter and Benchmark for helping us put on a great day and, most importantly, for supporting the Crewe Volunteer Fire Department. 🚒

Something new is coming to the Crewe Fire Classic this year! 🔥

We’re adding a Breakfast Bar this year with specialty morning drinks before the round, sponsored by Greener Hills Lawn Care!

Q&A Heating & Cooling is also joining us this year as our On-Course Beverage Sponsor.

A big thank you to both of these local businesses for supporting the Crewe Fire Classic and the Crewe Volunteer Fire Department!

The past 10 days have been a true testament to the dedication of Nottoway County’s volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel.

During this time, crews have responded to multiple serious motor vehicle accidents, multiple structure fires, and numerous other emergency incidents—all while operating in extreme summer heat.

The Crewe Volunteer Fire Department is proud to be 100% volunteer. Every call is answered by men and women who leave their jobs, families, and personal time to serve this community whenever they’re needed.

We appreciate the continued support from our community and are proud to stand alongside the other volunteer departments throughout Nottoway County to keep our citizens safe.
