First Citizens Donates Funds To Dillon County Council On Aging. Thanks to First Citizen’s Bank for the wonderful donation.
First Citizens Bank donated $27,370.00 to the Dillon County Council On Aging to assist in the purchase of a new "bus" on Wednesday, September 30.
Travis Jackson of First Citizens Bank stated "It's a great day in Dillon. We're thankful that we can provide these funds to assist in the purchase of a new van. The Dillon Council On Aging is a great place. It helps provide a place to eat and fellowship and so much more! The van will be a great asset in providing travel for the seniors in our community. The vehicle will also be used to transport food. It's an honor and a privilege."
Jeanette Freitas of the Dillon County Council On Aging thanked First Citizens Bank for the donation. She remarked "Hopefully the "bus" will be here soon. We are anxious and excited as it will provide a safer way of travel for our seniors as it is equipped with 2 steps for easy accessibility." The Dillon Council On Aging has been accepting donations for this for some time.
